Friday Dec 4, 2015 – 7 – 9 pm at Wo’se 8924 Holly Street
Full Family Bembe!
Wo’se community is hosting a like-minded communities Bembè featuring a dazzling array of drummers from throughout the diaspora and movement instruction of Baba Nimley Napla.
There will be fun for the whole family and a Karamu directly after.

Educational Symposium Featuring Professor Manu Ampim
Ma’at: Ancient Wisdom and Contemporary Strategy
Oakland Library Golden Gate Branch 5606 San Pablo Avenue
Presented by Professor Manu Ampim and Brother Sekhem Heka Maat Ra of KRST Unity Center in Los Angeles. This event is Wheelchair friendly and free to attend.

Saturday Afternoon December 5, 2015 1-4 pm
Bowl-A-Thon
AMF Southshore Lanes – 300 Park Street, Alameda, CA
Proceeds from the event go towards Ile Omode student scholarships and specialized educational programs. Sponsor a child today!!

Sunday December 6, 2015 – 10:30 am – 1 pm
Sunday Celebration Featuring Dr. Wade Nobles
Wo’se Community Building – 8924 Holly Street
Our program starts with a traditional Drum Call at 10:30am and will be followed by communal dancing, creative offerings from our youth, songs of praise and a keynote address from a legendary scholar, activist and cultural warrior; Dr. Wade Nobles!
